Standing Committees
This section lists the standing committees as reformulated at the September 2006 Board meeting. If you are interested in being involved with any of these committees, please contact a Board member.
Image/ Public Relations/ Communications Committee
This committee is chaired by the MAA President. It handles issues of communicating the message of MAA both to members and nonmembers. Ongoing projects include website maintainance and the MAA listserv.
Membership Committee
This committee is chaired by the MAA Treasurer. Traditionally, this committee maintains membership lists and works on recruitment strategies to attract and retain members.
Outreach and Education Committee
This committee handles outreach and education issues. Current projects include the formulation of chapters and outreach to graduate students.
Publications Committee
This committee publishes the Open Entry newsletter and brochures or other one-time publications.
